SPACE-Timers

Project information

The SPACE-Timers are a stack-based hierarchical timing system for profiling nested regions of code with high-resolution wall-clock measurements in C++ with an Python3 wrapping. It supports detailed reporting (sorted by runtime contribution), serialisation/deserialization for persistence, and MPI-awareness for parallel environments. It incorporates a simple interface to multiple profiling backends such as NVIDIA NVTX, Intel ITT API, AMD ROCTx, Omnitrace user API and MERIC, enabling seamless integration with external performance analysis tools.
