Compiling the trento Fortran code
Trento provides FORTRAN code ie. at https://gitlab.lrz.de/exahype/ExaHyPE-Engine/tree/master/Code/UserCodes/Fortran/ADER_DG_Limiter_3D which is a subset of their research code. This page shall ist some pitfalls how to compile and run it.
For me, downloading
libtecio.a from the Tecio website works, but the code is not linkable. Instead, I had to compile
libtecio on my own. To do so, I
- Installed all the Boost librarys at my system (Ubuntu:
- Downloaded the
tecplot.tar.gzfrom the Tecplot website and edited
BOOST_ROOT = /usr/include/boostand hit
make. It compiles fine with GCC and creates
For me this compiles and links then fine, taking the latest Makefile (ie. 748a064a) into account.
