Intrinsic "uncertainties" / stochastic variation within the simulator

There seem to be stronger interaction effects among the input parameters that induce stochasticity in the simulator, as expected. Fixing single sources of stochasticity (starting positions, free-flow speeds, grid variation for optimization, step length variation) individually might not necessarily reduce the variation in the output. As a result, it is complicated to reduce the amount of variability in the output and it might be helpful to analyse the variability in the output before running further studies.
