Pedestrians as Dynamic Elements in Simulation
If pedestrians are manually set into the simulation, they are listed as dynamics elements and not part of a source. This results in several problems:
- The scenario checker xref #140 claims that the target is not used (e.g. Test OSM - narrow_passage_nelder_mead_ok) because it is only checked if a source is linked to the target. This check needs to be updated.
[2) Each pedestrian has its own attributes, e.g. radius and free-flow speeds. Their defaults are not identical to the "normal" defaults in the topography tab. This list of attributes should be removed, instead the values chosen in topography ´´attributesPedestrian´´ should be used.]
What is the current bug behavior?
- Scenario checker: Topography Warning
[2) minimumSpeed = 0.3, maximumSpeed = 3.0 etc. -> "attributes" of ´´AgentWrapper´´ are not identical to current defaults in ´´attributesPedestrian´´]
What is the expected correct behavior?
- No topography warning (-> modify scenario checker)
[2) No attributes field of
AgentWrapper´´ (use values from ´´attributesPedestrian) ]
Steps to reproduce
Take a look at Test OSM project, narrow_passage_nelder_mead_ok.scenario and click on one of the pedestrians.
